Dear Diary: How To Be Successful At Steemit

I already invited my relatives here at steemit but none of them ever believed me even though they had seen the milestones I already achieved from here. It seems that nit everyone is for blogging and sometimes maybe one can only talk and not write or work office jobs or something and not being able to talk about it through blogs.
It could be better if somebody in my family is here side by side working with me so that maybe if I could not write they can take over but to no avail I am the only one in my clan here at steemit.
Maybe it is better that way so that there would never be an awkward moment between us with my relatives particularly with my siblings because I for one would not want them to read what I am writing about like what happened to me when my eldest brother read my blogs from a different platform and made a joke about it.
I sometimes get embarrassed when someone I know learned what I am doing online that is why I just am very secretive from people who knows me personally but I am open to people who are away from me which is weird but that is what I am.
But writing is making me feel good inside as I can express what I am thinking and it makes a form of a therapy that calms me and because we get rewards from our blogs here the feeling gets magnified and that helps my thoughts and mental state for which I am thankful.
There are many factors to consider to be successful at steemit, it boils down to love for what you do in your life and sharing it here in this social blog platform like one can just make videos and be successful about it too or invest at steem with great amounts of SP and write a little and you can also be successful with that or only curate but it needs a lot of SP in my opinion to make your curation efforts worthwhile.
For me it is just about loving in what you do in life and sharing it and with persistence and determination you might also be one of those successful steemians that can make it big in here especially if you are very resourceful and wise.

I hear you brother. I had a Pastor at Church who was super interested in Steemit. Then I re thought " do I really want him to read all my blog posts" ?
As a Writer nothing is off limits to me...for the most part. So I am glad he has not further asked me more about it lately lol
You can really tell how things goes in ones head by the way they write haha, maybe you can discover more from your Pastor when he starts to write here at steemit Sir.
This certainly a legendary move! Perhaps since you are doing well on the steem blockchain, I don't think you should feel awkward and make it a bit secretive. Although, we steemians should be proud of the community in presence of anyone.
As regards the factors that could lead to be successful on steem. You said that perfectly and brief and I also believe supporting people by up voting their post and comments a whole % will help them boost and feel happy. That will as well make them look up to you.

I invited many people but they didnt believe me either. They quickly gave up after the first month and not willing to join again. I am not giving up because i love this platform and this nice community :)
Yes this community is one of the best I know.
I feel the same way about being private online. I don't mind if any old random stranger might read or comment on something I've written, but if it's someone I know in person I feel kind of embarrassed or something...
