Dear Diary: Cereals Are Good To Eat But Not On Its Own
Source
My supper again this evening was a bowl of sweet cereal that I recently bought, the brand is "Cheerios" and it is indeed sweet with a nutty flavor. So I feel like I am eating candies but I could not eat some rice anyway so I asked mother to give me some in a bowl.
I could not eat it with milk because of my intolerance to digesting it as it gives me a lot of gas in my guts plus the phosphorus it contains isn't nice to get absorbed by my body. I ate it slowly and finishing it with some few ounces of juice that was left in my Thermos container.

A couple of hours later I am already shaking in hunger which is a symptom of an already low blood sugar, my body just used up the calories like you would burn some dry papers. It is because it got shoved quickly in my guts fast while if I would eat it with some protein I would get to digest it slowly together with the meat or protein.
So I just want to send a message that eating carbohydrates alone either it has a lot of fiber or not is not sufficient enough to give you a sustained energy. It has to be combined with a protein source preferably meat so that your body will get a steady supply of fuel to sustain you until your next meal so that you won't suffer a calorie debt and a low blood sugar.
Well I like cereals, vegetables and fruits are excellent for our daily menus, I'm not a lover of meat, I like chicken, that piece of meat looks very appetizing for those who like a good barbecue. At least I see that you have a warrior appetite, greetings @cryptopie
Thanks for the recommendation, it is important to eat protein and carbohydrates to give the body the necessary energy.
My boys are a fan of cheerios, and I don't mind them myself - although they can't be so tasty dry without milk.
I think you are correct about cereals like this being burned up very quickly without the addition of a little protein to slow it down.
