Getting Washed With My Blood Again

I really am tired in going for my bi-weekly dialysis, it is because of the distance that I have to travel which is not that far though but just eats my time particularly my parent's time and effort not to mention money, gas money, food money, and hospital payment money. Even though I have an insurance to use I still pay my hospital some extra hospital bills even though I know that most of my expenses are really covered. It is just that my dialysis center is a business that is strict on covering all their expenditure with patient's money.

That is what I do not like about my dialysis center because they charge extra while it is not needed and it is just a burden to the dialysis patients since their sessions are frequently done. Now of course the money that is paid is a large sum already in time which could be used in other important things needed by the patient.

My Dialysis Center Just Eats Our Money Even Though Our Treatment Sessions Are Paid fully By My Health Insurance

The real savior really was the government insurance that most of us use and indeed it is a great help in comparison to my former years as a dialysis patient where at one point I have to scrimp my treatment by going for my dialysis only once a week. It was indeed hell because by the time I get to the dialysis center I could not walk anymore because of the toxins and fluid build-up amounting to almost 6 to seven kilos which fortunately at that time are taken out from my body entirely.

Most patients could not do that because of severe muscle cramps. But I had found a way to control my muscle cramping by countering it and totally not allowing my lower limbs to move even the slightest millimeter of my muscles would contract so painfully that you will summon even your dead grandparent just to help you out.

I do not normally report muscle cramping because if I do my dialysis quality will get affected. So I just try to manage it myself until the session was completed. Muscle cramps happens when large fluids are taken out from the body and also depends on how the dialysis machine is configurated so for that reason I myself don't experience it much because the nurses only takes relatively small amount of fluids in my system.

Dialysis is done for four hours per session, it would feel very short or long depending on the patient's reaction to the treatment process. If you are already experiencing low blood pressure or severe cramps, the sessions seems to take an eternity to finish up. But if you are just having a bad cleaning process, i.e. your body is not reacting with its blood pressure and stays high then you would feel that you just needed more dialysis time.

Muscle Cramps Happens A Lot And Sometimes Severe Enough To End The Treatment Session

In my case maybe my heart is already weak which is why I kept on getting that blood pressure crash issue that is plaguing me for many years now. I could not seem to solve it because of an unknown factor that I could not determine. So I just eat immediately prior and during my treatment because the sodium in the food might contribute to my BP to stabilize. It could well be my dialyzer which is efficient in cleaning my blood because of its relatively bigger holes where more toxins and also things that my body need to pass through and cleaned off more effectively/easily.

So that is just my main concern, to stabilize my BP so that the cleaning quality is not affected. But I have to think about my excessive body fluids which could not be taken out totally because of again my BP and it gets hard because it causes me to have a breathing issue when I get waterlogged and it makes my life miserable because it is hard to breathe at that point. Dialysis would ease it up a bit and the cycle continues. A vicious cycle that makes my life hard orver and over again.

I Am Just Trying To Stabilize My BP With Food Because Of Its Sodium Add Sugar Content
