Sweet Dating Place
On our first day in Turkey we were exhausted. The border crossing took a lot of our energy. What a better way to replenish those energy than having some sweets. Perfect for a blind date too if you need something that everyone loves. Welcome to Kardeşler Simit Dünyası & Patisserie.
Colourful Funky Setting
It was a quiet Monday night when we got to the restaurant, so only a few customers there. There were coloured lighting and some were flashing (in need of repair of course), but it provided a disco feel! The lighting and space provided a very fun atmosphere. A place to bring your friends together, or even a date!
The only annoying experience we had here was the frequent visitsy kids holding a scale asking us to use it - which is a different way to begging as they're offering a service. During our stay, we has at least 5 visit our table, followed by the store workers hushing them out. We wanted to take them home for a better care.
All the choices!
We didn't really know exactly what we ordered, we didn't have the language. So being a little brave, we picked by what we saw. It worked well because we really enjoyed the sweets we chose. ...And tea! It is a very big tea culture here, so we had a little cup of tea as well.
They also serve many drink options like tea, coffee, juice and shakes. We only had tea because it's a better match to sweets!
Price: 9 Lira (~$2 US)
On the price scale, I'll rate it as a cheap ($$). It was 4 pc for 6 Liras, and 2 tea for 3 Liras. Not bad.
Nothing can beat the price we got in Iran where a dollar can get you a whole box of sweets!

Something Different
As mentioned above, we never had this experience before where a kid would approach you while you're enjoying your food. They are working late at night, in the cold, who knows where their parents are! I hope the store workers treated them better next time... Or give them a biscuit or two.
