The jinx
I can recall about 4 months ago I was trying to reach $600 in value for my account.I nearly achieved it then ,and was so close. Around 2 months ago I was so close again but Steem kept dropping and just missed it. This has been a bit of a carrot for me and finally today I made it. I just checked and it has gone below again.
I hope I am not the jinx, when I joined Steem was $4.50 and has dropped ever since I put my feet in here. This was the case when I bought Crypto ,I always believed you buy it on the way down, but it just didn't stop lol.
I know it's not me but it feels like it is my fault sometimes.If I buy a certain crypto it is doomed as guaranteed it will drop. I am hoping the bottom is in for Steem and it will start going the other way.
I have normally been lucky in life with contests and the lottery.I have won so many lucky number draws in the past. The lottery is a sore point though as I have hit 5 numbers twice on roll over draws. So close, yet so far.
I wouldn't call what I have as luck as you have to put yourself in positions to benefit. The right place at the right time is lucky and me finding this place was a massive piece of luck. I see this as an opportunity of a lifetime and it is what you do with it that counts.This is my lottery now and I am not leaving it to chance. As they say you have to be in it, to win it.

Haha, I had a similar mark (mine was 500) but I know that I will be there at the point. Having fun meanwhile does makes it easier :)

That is kind of sad, man. Well done on the milestone and just remember to keep the faith (as i am sure you do.) One of the thing about this whole crash that keeps me going is that the people I know that have MUCH more of it than I do are all HODLing and that encourages me to do the same.
