BTW, I really like your videos. You seem honest, real and passionate about crypto-currencies. I've seen some people sharing your videos here and not giving proper credits. Not cool... You may want to do a search and contact these people.

Ya when i see them i flag em. I think there are a few ppl out there down voting videos that are not posted by their creators. Guess its nice having a relatively small community.

Small...for now ;) Thanks for flagging. Much appreciated!

Thank you for the appreciation :) I did notice earlier that someone had posted my video, but it's not a big deal to me. It still links to my youtube, so I'm still getting support that way. Good looking out and much love. (I know you should only post original content here, but any support and awareness helps us all in the long run...I'm not in this for the short term bucks he might make off my video.) Take care, friend!

Don't worry too much man I think this is just one of those bugs we gotta work out..

Steemit did just launch so I think you can be happy knowing your investment is safe.. I wouldn't be suprised if we hit the 1 Million user mark VERY soon :D

The fact that it is so young and did just launch is what was most concerning, but the team seems to be doing a great job. This definitely doesn't seem like a scam, or pump and dump! 1,000,000 people doesn't seem like much, with the way this platform is easily drawing people in, so you may hit your mark much sooner than later :D Cheers, stealth!

Thanks to cloveandcinnamon, I realized I had commented on someone else's channel who had posted your last video thinking it was you .... anyway, just wanted to make sure I thank you for your posts. I've been following you on youtube and it's thanks to you I discovered steemit. Cheers.

Yeah, apparently other chaps are reposting my vids, however I'm glad you found the real me :) I'm filled with joy at knowing I could help you discover steemit early on and earn some cash. Cheers, and keep in touch, Rawmeen.

Dude. Hacking is standard for any site that has hot wallets. Doesn't surprise me at all. I am sure it will happen again. They really need a cold storage option for the steem. Or at least have 2FA

I totally agree they should implement 2FA! You should wright a post about it ;)

Yes, they do. I'm sure that most old school crypto enthusiasts won't feel comfortable pouring in a huge subset of their assets until stricter and more flexible personal security options are implemented. 2FA is the least of things that should be implemented asap, indeed.

Well, it's great that this hack wasn't that bad at least. We live and learn.

Steem will work through these challenges. I believe we are witnessing the emergence of a resilient online community.

@crypt0 You are a good storyteller, sometimes I get excited with your videos about the future of cryptocurrency, but this is not the first time I ever see you disappointed. You get excited very quick. I'm huge fan of the future of blockchain technologies, and I appreciate the work you do to keep us informed. I sleep better knowing that there is people like you watching the interest of all of us. My suggestion is that we need to work for the sustainability of projects like Steemit if we believe in it. Is dangerous for all of us to trade with our future, we have to be more careful. We need to do more things than trade for this platforms.

Hope you can recover your money and diversify a bit. Ethereum seems to be picking up. I saw a Ethereum chart analisys on tradingview today that shows a possible $17 resistance on the way up, down back to a $5 support and then slowly climb again to the moon.

Very interesting...what a far stretch- from $5 to 17$! I can see what that could be, but the moon is definitely in the horizon in the medium-term. I did indeed diversify and recover my money, so thanks :) All worked out, and I hope it's doing the same for you. Cheers, cloveandcinnamon!
