[Chinese Eat] Seafood with Romantic Sunset
Some says being attached for work faraway from base can be either an adventure or just a boring one. For me it's definitely not the later when having a bunch of friends of different age and background who are willing to hangout together. Last Thursday, to celebrate our belated CHAP GOH MEI we manage to spot a wonderful place for dinner.
Jade Garden Seafood Corner which is located by a small jetty and seaside making it a local hotspot for a perfect sunset dinner date. The Seafood here are served fresh from their own breeding pond beside the building.

Here's a list of Chinese Seafood Cuisine that we ordered:
1. Steamed Gastropods 清蒸罗

The gastropods are very fresh and juicy. At some restaurants you can find theirs to have sandy taste but not here. You must taste it with their sambal sauce.
2. Stir Fried Squid with Sambal Sambal 炒鱿鱼

The squid is also very fresh. It's a blend of sichuan style with our local sambal style.
3. Three Coloured Omelette 三色蛋

A blend of century egg, salted egg and chicken egg omelette with some onion leaves . My personal favourite.
4. Stir Fried Green Dragon Vegetable 油炒青龙菜

One of the vegetable which is the local favourite here, the Royal Chives. It looks like onion leaves but have a taste of its on. Must try.
5. Assorted Yam Ring 佛钵飘香

Fried Yam ring with assorted vegetables, mushrooms and nuts. The fried Yam is very crispy, and is a perfect mix to be eaten with the vegetables side.
6. Singapore Fried Vermicelli 星洲米

Our local called it Fried Bee Hoon. If you can't go to Singapore, you can taste it in most of local Malaysian restaurants as well.
7. Braised Oyster Mushroom 蚝油煸炒蚝蘑菇

Soft and tender "abalone" oyster mushroom. It taste sweet with the oyster sauce.
8. Stir Fried Ostrich with Black Pepper 黑椒鸵鸟肉

Ever eat an ostrich? It's fresh from their own farm.
Steam Grouper 清蒸石斑鱼
Another of my personal preference. Plain steam without much strong ingredients. The fish doest have much fishy smell so it's best cooked this wemay when it's fresh.Butter Prawns 奶油虾
Fresh Prawns deep buttered fried. Nothing much to explain, it's worth to eat.Salted Egg Crab 咸蛋炒蟹
Salted Egg flavour is one of the trend coming towards Malaysia and Singapore currently. It taste great with crabs as well.Longan Sea Coconut 龙眼海底椰
Our dessert. Just to smoothen our tummy after the heavy delicacies.
The service here is good as the waiters are very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious and served fast as well. The price of the food is around where we can find in most restaurants. All in all it was a good meal and experience.
