SCHOOL IS A SCAM! - THERE IS NEED FOR SELF DISCOVERY

Dear School, I know the truth. You lied! There is more to life than what we do here and what happens within these walls. 

But it's heartbreaking because I trusted you. 

• When you told me without good grades I wouldn't succeed in life. Yes, I trusted you! 
• When you made me feel like Kenny was smarter than me because he got an "A". Yes, I believed you. 

You made me feel like I was worthless. You made me feel like I was a failure just because I got an "E". 

You made me feel like I was not special. Because I wasn't among the 1st 5 in class performance/academic rankings. 

Yes! You did all these, and I believed you. But I thank God for self discovery, for I was special all along, and somewhere behind all those calculus and algebra, those Projectiles and Vectors, behind all that chemistry and biology, there was potentials waiting to be exploited, dreams waiting to be achieved, greatness waiting to be tapped, a star waiting to shine, and inspirations for generations unborn to leverage on. They were there, inside of me all these while, but you made me feel like I was dumb.

But despite all these, I don't blame you. But, Dear School, I wish you were human, so I could tell you how I feel, and maybe help you face the truth. That some of us were meant to fly, and some were meant to swim, and if only we could get the chance for us to live our dreams, our Smiles will become brighter and each man would be a star. 

Instead of forcing everybody to live a life that was meant for just a few. Tell me how I would be able to run, if all I know is how to fly. And tell me if I would ever be happy trying to live a fake life that was not destined for me but for someone else...

And yes, you said I would succeed, but if only I follow your path. But why not let me live the life I chose? And even if I don't get rich, I know I will still have my Joy.

I have come so far already, and No! I won't dropout, I must finish the race. And i will prove to you that not all of us are weak. But if we had the choice we wouldn't opt for this. 

I just hope you understand that engineering, mathematics, physics, biology, etc.. Might be someone else's passion. But please, all I ask is that you allow me feature in the picture of the future I saw. My Dream..... 

Dear School, I hope someday you would realize this truth.
