Hobbies and Other Things - Gratitude #12
I’m truly grateful for my interests and hobbies, and all the things I can do. I can’t imagine what I’d be doing now if I didn’t have these to occupy my time.
As some of you may know I like diy’s, gardening, craft. I sew, knit, crochet. I’ve started my zero-waste, minimalism journey. I love animals and watch a lot of documentaries on animals, and became a pescatarian last April. And I cut my boys’ and my own hair (saves time and money).
It’s great that I have so many interests because I can do so many things according to my mood. If I don’t feel like doing anything I just watch the news, documentaries or movies. The documentaries are so informative. They inspire me and give me hope for a better tomorrow.

6 siblings, all from the same parents but all so different. #5 and I are most similar. We both love gardening, craft, diy’s, animals. She’s in the UK but we chat a lot about these things through WhatsApp.
She’ll be back next month and we’ve planned to do a lot of stuff together. I’m going to teach her how to make bar soap, moisturising cream, and beeswax wrap 😊
As we approach senior citizen status (😰) I notice that my other sisters have no hobbies and I wonder what they do every day. I don’t consider online shopping and their playing games on their phones hobbies. But I have heard that games stimulate the mind and might reduce the risk of developing dementia. Maybe I should play some games too 😅

Having something we love to fill up our free time or having something we love to free ourselves from all other things is really important... Except for gardening... I love all the other activities you mentioned above... but I only do some of them with my girls... My mom loves gardening... I prefer to take photos of the plants rather than planting them...
