Küçük Panda bir diğer adı ile kızıl panda olarakta bilinmektedir.Küçük Pandalar etçil hayvanlardır.Bu hayvanlar nesli tükenmekte olan hayvan türlerine giriyor.Küçük pandanın uzunluğu ortalama olarak 121 cm’dir. Ağırlığı ise 4,5 kg kadar çıkmaktadır.Küçük pandaların yaşama süresi ise 9-10 yıl arasında değişmektedir.Fakat bu sayı hayvanat bahçesinde yaşayan küçük panda’lar için 14 yıl’a kadar çıkmaktadır.Küçük Pandalar çok ses çıkarmazlar.
Küçük pandalar Himalaya,Çin ve Nepal’de yaşamaktadırlar.Küçük pandalar çok yetenekli tırmanıcıdırlar.Çoğunlukla gece yemek arayışına çıkarlar. Sabahları veya gündüzleri ise ağaçlarda uyumaktadırlar.
