colorful springtime bobbles
I missed the first day of spring. I thought it was the 21st of March but it was the 20th. Not that it would matter, it's not an official holiday where I needed to prepare a celebration. I even wondered why Google was decorated in soft pastels. Maybe it's time for me to come out of hibernation!
I wandered around the local nursery a couple of days ago and saw beautiful colors everywhere — definitely signs of spring. The blues, greens, pinks and yellows all remind me of Easter.
My photos show items used to decorate planters and gardens.
The first is of glass balls with attached picks to place in the garden or among some cut flowers. The second burst of color is a bouquet of plastic butterfly straws - I leaned in closely so I could catch the light streaming under the wings which produced a blurred watery bokeh.
Beautiful spring photos - the colours are gorgeous -the last photo is as fragile and lovely as flower blossoms

Happy colors !! I really enjoyed walking through that nursery. I am going to go back so I can touch everything - my husband laughs at me when I do that. ...it's something I have to do in order to feel like I have seen the whole store. ! I'm such a fun girl :)
I missed it, too! Though the guess technically, that’s a ridiculous thing to say. I was here. So I didn’t actually miss it.
We are in the middle of a major rainstorm...the kind that lasts for days. There hasn’t been one like this here in years. Thank you for brightening it up with your study of light and color.
I guess I didn't miss it either then. I was here...somewhere. What would I have done differently anyway? Stand up and applaud? Call a newspaper and be interviewed about my thoughts on the matter? Star in a parade??
Rain. Yes. It's cleansing and I hope you get enough to keep any fire ideas from occurring. You are probably feeling cold at 60F....that's my favorite temperature so I'd most likely be outside walking in the rain, getting crazy frizzy yet flat hair, wet shoes and rosy cheeks. In that order.

So beautiful, I love the colors! Spring colors make us so happy. The first green popping up from the earth is so refreshing, it washes away the winter blues so quickly! I'm sure you are ready for spring!!
Oh ya.....it's beautiful and blue and sunny today....but it's cold. It's 27 F outside. I'm sitting in the car waiting for John and I'm comfortable - the sun is keeping me warm.
