THE DAY OF FOOD WAS CELEBRATED WITH 65% OF CHILDREN DYING FROM HUNGER - VENEZUELA

As a consequence of the lack of intake of proteins and foods that provide the nutrients necessary for a healthy diet, at least 65% of children have some degree of malnutrition.
Most of our children are suffering the ravages of hunger, which translates into a severe level of malnutrition. Malnutrition in children is not solved with a CLAP bag because they require protein, calcium and fruit intake. In addition to all the questions that have been made to those products which have high levels of contamination, as is currently being aired in an investigation conducted by the Mexican Government.

Every day it is harder for parents to guarantee a balanced diet for their children. "The hyperinflation is so brutal, that there are increases in the products of the basic basket every day.
In studies conducted by the NGO CARITAS, the study revealed that children under 6 months of age are the most affected group. "In 32% of children under 6 months, moderate and severe acute malnutrition was detected". "The highest proportion of acute global malnutrition is in Vargas (19.7%) and the Capital District (16.7%), with levels above critical emergency thresholds. Zulia, on the other hand, scores 10.9%.
