This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

More pain in week 3 and I can say right now that my confidence level is at its lowest in a very long time. Betting right now is just exteremely difficult and the bets that I do tend tend to be just coinflips that fall the right way. On the positive side, I did highly reduce my stakes and the number of bets which limited the damage this week to just -0.675 units and the main objective is to stop the bleeding.

Overall I still only down -3.7 units while in the past I did have single weeks with profit more than that and my overall bankroll is still extremely healthy as I can easily handle 10+ unit downswings. Also in times like this it's nice to be able to zoom out and see the long term as I have a chart of the last 8000+ bets which still looks like a straight line up with nothing I haven't gone trough already

So from here on out it will be a matter of improving my ability and focus and take it 1 step at a time. I already assume this is going to be a difficult season just based on how sharp all the lines have been.

I'm also slowing down on the pre-game bets having just 1 this week which ended up as a push. I'll keep taking it slow until things turn around and if Ican regain my form and confidence. So far this season I'm at just -1.876 units on these.

Regular Season 2023-2024 Personal Betting Chart

For now, I have totally thrown the objective to get to 8-10 units volume each week out of the window with the only goal to first reduce the downward risk aiming to slowly but surely get things back up. I highly reduced my stakes and it could have gone way worse if I had not done that.

I would almost sight for a lower loss next week at this point but I stay positive to potentially turn things around. My focus fully will go to making this happen but it also needs to be possible as the market is really sharp. Next weeks update will give the some answers
