Orange sidecar is one of Sierra Nevada's newest ales, an attempt by the brewery to gain an edge in the constantly competitive craft beer market.
Sierra Nevada's beers, traditionally boldly hoppy, is one of the founders of the craft beer movement in the 1980s, but today stands as the 7th largest brewery in the United States.
Orange sidecar seeks to energize and balance the ale's hoppiness with a crisp essence of orange peel, and is 5.3% alcohol.
