Morning Breakfast Spread at The Orange Hotel, Da Nang, Vietnam

in #travelfeed4 years ago (edited)

The breakfast at each of the hotels we have stayed at thus far have been quite impressive to say the least. Several options to choose from, nice presentation, options hot/cold held or cooked to order, etc.

So far we have been to Hanoi, Sapa, and now, Da Nang. The breakfasts here at The Orange Hotel in Da Nang, however, have been the most satisfying up until this point. Each day, a new menu of items to choose from, all of which, traditional Vietnamese breakfast dishes.

Today alone, I had 4 plates. I just couldn’t resist and kept going back for more. The picture above shows my first plate, which you can see includes all local cuisine options.

Pictured above we have:
  • Grilled tomato, seasoned to perfection (cà chua nướng);
  • Grilled quail egg (trứng cút nướng);
  • Cassava Cake (Bánh khoai mì);
  • Shrimp deviled egg (trứng nhoi tôm rim);
  • Vietnamese pancake, also featured here, (bánh xèo) and;
  • Vinegar salad (salad giảm cân)

There were several other options to choose from as well, but this gives you a pretty good idea of what I’m talking about. Everything was so rich and flavorful.

Today, we continue our trek through Vietnam, heading south to the old, historic town of Hoi An. This ancient town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We plan to take a ‘Grab’ cab there for about 300,000 VND, which is about 13 bucks American. Hoi An is roughly 35km from Da Nang, so this is a pretty solid deal. Plus, the grab will take us right to the front door.

The place we currently stay, The Orange Hotel, has a sister hotel location in the ancient town called the Nhi Nhi Hotel. We’ve already booked with The Orange getting a nice discount in the process.

Off we go again 🇻🇳
