Finalmente, despuรฉs de tanto tiempo de haber abandonado este proyecto, estรก de vuelta, una idea que intentรฉ desarrollar hace tiempo y dejรฉ de lado por falta de รกnimos, solo que esta vez he decidido trabajarlo con ilustraciones digitales, me resulta mucho mas cรณmodo y prรกctico, ademรกs ahorro bastante material. Realmente estoy muy emocionado de retomar este pequeรฑo proyecto ahora que me siento mucho mas capaz de ilustrarlo adecuadamente, y espero poder publicarlo pronto.
Como ya sabrรกn, una de mis aficiones es la escritura, tengo publicadas un par de historias cortas de terror acรก en steemit, entonces ยฟQuรฉ mejor manera de mezclar dos de mis pasiones en un solo proyecto que creando un cรณmic? la idea surgiรณ hace casi un aรฑo, comencรฉ a escribir la historia una madrugada, los primeros guiones eran bastante bรกsicos pero poco a poco los fui corrigiendo, anexando y quitando algunas cosas hasta lograr una historia con la que me sintiera lo suficientemente cรณmodo.
Finally, after so much time of having abandoned this project, it is back, an idea that I tried to develop long ago and left aside for lack of encouragement, only this time I have decided to work with digital illustrations, I find it much more convenient and practical I also save a lot of material. I'm really excited to take up this little project now that I feel much more able to illustrate it properly, and I hope to be able to publish it soon.
As you already know, one of my hobbies is writing, I have published a couple of short horror stories here in steemit, so what better way to mix two of my passions in a single project than creating a comic? the idea arose almost a year ago, I started writing the story one dawn, the first scripts were quite basic but little by little I was correcting them, attaching and removing some things until I achieved a story with which I felt comfortable enough.

What is the story about?
La historia se centra en Viktor Russo, un ex peleador de Artes Marciales Mixtas que llega a La Ciudad buscando a su hermana, descubre que esta estรก involucrada con un peligroso jefe de la mafia, Viktor en un desesperado intento de liberarla de ese mundo acepta ser luchador en peleas clandestinas, olvidando entonces su verdadero objetivo se termina involucrando con una mujer muy peligrosa y entra en una espiral en decadencia debido a su vida de excesos de la cual intenta salir, sin embargo, a pesar de su arrogancia, el tenรญa claro que no saldrรญa vivo de este negocio.
The story centers on Viktor Russo, a former Mixed Martial Arts fighter who arrives in the city looking for his sister, discovers that she is involved with a dangerous mafia boss, Viktor in a desperate attempt to free her from that world. fighter in clandestine fights, forgetting then his true objective ends up getting involved with a very dangerous woman and enters a downward spiral due to his life of excesses which he tries to leave, however, despite his arrogance, he was clear that I would not live out of this business.

The Process
Como ya lo expliquรฉ, esta vez pretendo trabajar las ilustraciones del cรณmic de forma digital, usando el programa Corel Painter 2015, para empezar dibujรฉ el boceto en la primera capa, definiendo las proporciones del rostro y el cuerpo, originalmente el personaje estaba ubicado de otra forma, pero tras varias correcciones resultรณ en esta posiciรณn.
As I explained, this time I intend to work the illustrations of the comic in digital form, using the Corel Painter 2015 program, to start drawing the sketch in the first layer, defining the proportions of the face and body, originally the character was located in another form, but after several corrections resulted in this position.
Tras dibujar las proporciones, comencรฉ a definir el rostro en una nueva capa, definiendo los rasgos, nariz, boca ojos, algunas arrugas, el gesto de agresividad que denota el rostro, y algunas sombras. After drawing the proportions, I began to define the face in a new layer, defining the features, nose, mouth eyes, some wrinkles, the gesture of aggressiveness that denotes the face, and some shadows. Then, in a new layer I drew the lines of the suit, this gives the impression of being a heavy suit with few wrinkles.
Para comenzar a darle color, originalmente lo intentรฉ de manera uniforme, sin texturas, pero no me pareciรณ adecuado para el estilo, entonces comencรฉ a rellenar la zona del traje usando lineas en diagonal, dejando pequeรฑos espacios entre ellas, acentuando mas la opacidad en las zonas sombreadas. Cuando el traje estuvo listo rellenรฉ el fondo con un color gris para resaltar mas las iluminaciones del personaje.
To begin to color it, I originally tried it in a uniform way, without textures, but it did not seem suitable for the style, so I began to fill the area of the suit using diagonal lines, leaving small spaces between them, accentuating more the opacity in the shaded areas. When the suit was ready I filled the background with a gray color to highlight more the character's illuminations.
El rostro fue lo mas complicado de trabajar, el color base de la piel es bastante claro, y conforme trabajaba mas capas de color iba oscureciendo, y para darle ese toque de color caracterรญstico que tienen mis ilustraciones de este estilo apliquรฉ azul y rojo en las zonas laterales, como si fueran el reflejo de las luces de neรณn, desde ahรญ me guiรฉ para aplicar estas mismas iluminaciones en el resto del personaje.
The face was the most complicated to work, the base color of the skin is quite clear, and as I worked more layers of color was darkening, and to give that touch of color characteristic of my illustrations of this style I applied blue and red in the side areas, as if they were the reflection of neon lights, from there I was guided to apply these same illuminations in the rest of the character.
El fondo originalmente iba a contener algunos colores degradados, pero concluรญ en que no se veรญa del todo bien, asรญ que intentรฉ algunas otras alternativas, hasta que al final me decidรญ por la que me parecรญa mas acorde con la ilustraciรณn, un fondo con textura que da la impresiรณn de lluvia.
The background was originally going to contain some degraded colors, but I concluded that it did not look quite right, so I tried some other alternatives, until in the end I decided on the one that seemed to me more in line with the illustration, a textured background that It gives the impression of rain.
