Uncommon beer wall design

Hello dear readers,

I went to a beer factory and of course there was free beer :), in the last chamber of the underground passage way there was like a small pub with free beer.
But I came upon a wall that got my interest

Intereating, right?
I have seen something similar, but with full wine bottles.
Also i came upon a room with this inside:

Don't know, but maybe every time someone had one beer, threw the cap in this room

imagine after a full hand of people had a couple of beers and one came and said: lets fill this room with caps....?
