This bit of #vehiclephotography is a central pivot irrigation system I came across somewhere (in Washington. . . I think). Ubiquitous across the Great Plains and parts of the western US, I'd never seen one in person before deciding to drive to the Pacific coast. Responsible for both a massive increase in agricultural productivity as well as a massive drain on the water table (particularly the Ogallala Aquifier), these massive machines are an integral part of modern farming in the United States.
