A Snowy Christmas with Saywhat monsters. Christmas is near... better get ready.
Chrismas is near and I am here to hype the atmosphere here a little with this drawing.
Hola amigos, today I made a drawing with pen and alcohol based markers. The concept is snow with some cute monsters that was derived from saywha's works(I have permission for this so don't flag).
About alcohol based markers, they are the best coloring medium for colored publishing materials if you prefer doing the manuscript traditionally (not digital). The prices aren't cheap for these mediums since you will be needing to buy a lot of colors to make them be effective in use and per marker prices ranges from 4$ to 15$ depending on the brand.
I use Zebra markers because they are way cheaper than Copic markers. Just check them online if you're interested, I'm not selling any of mine.
Process
Rough Draft
I drew the main characters face with the very basic method, drawing the shape first then adding a cross guide in the middle to make sure that the face parts are in equilibrium.
Then I drew the hood, which is my most favorite part of this drawing.
Finished her body here
Then I drew the m31 saywha monster with my own version of it.(just look at saywha's blog and look for my references there)
And of course the suesa monster.
Ah, this guy is my original design, lets just call him saywha because he looks great because of the cape.
Added then I added Furby(Furby is a toy that became popular around 90's, Google it) on one of the house's roof.
Inking
For the inking process, I used Sakura micron pigmented pens. These pens are very convenient and are easy to use.

Coloring
I started with blue for the hair.
I wanted to make this main subject to look like a Yukionna. A Yukionna is a Japanese folklore taht lives on the snowy mountains. Hence the name if translated, yuki=snow and onna=womman, that makes her a snow woman I guess.
I then colored mobbs, I forgot to mention that Yukionna was holding our dear mobbs.
Done coloring Yukionna.
Then I colored m31 and suesa. I kind of messed up with suesa's color here, sorry there dear.
Then I colored saywha...
And Furby

oh you must be lucky and live in one of those tropical places where viagra fruit grows. We only get green viagra fruit in the supermarkets here and it never seems to ripen. It just always stays hard... ;)
