Those Times I Feel Old: Comic Strip
The past few comics I've made are based on my life, and this one isn't the exception. Maybe it's just easier to try and remember things I struggle with or that are a little funny and that some of you might relate to.
I always complain/tell myself that I'm old, even though I'm on my late 20's, which is not considered old old. I see myself like an senil guy living in a younger body, mostly because I don't like partying anymore (better to go out and eat in a quite place), enjoy music from the 60's - 90's, and in genera get along better with people around their 30s - 40s.
Anyway, this happened last year while attending a concert. I'll explain a few details after the comic.
At this point your biggest question should be... What's the deal with that huge Pikachu??? Hahaha! So the deal is that Stampede is like a huge event in Calgary where there are concerts, events, food and games. My wife and I like to try those fair games where you spend a lot of money to try to get a plush toy. We tried the rings game, where you toss a ring and try to land it in a bottle's neck. We neeeeeever win at that game (It's almost impossible to do by the laws of physics lol... jk) but this time I did it so I got her a HUGE Pikachu! We have it in the living room to show anyone who comes at our place lol.
LOL I just noticed I didn't have long hair.... and the comics shows as if I had..... ok whatever haha, sometimes I let my hair grow and then shave or just cut it normally... it's hard to keep track how long I had it without checking pictures...

Hahahahaha! You sound like my KIDS! They're mostly in their early 20's and they creak and groan like old people and joke that pretty soon they're going to be older than us! :)

Hah! I'm 58 but I feel like 38 most of the time... so my mental age is possibly similar to yours. :) I'd feel the same way you did back there.
but wait, if you feel 20 years younger... that means that if you were in my position, you would have been screaming for those kids like the girl because you'd be more identified with the teenagers lol xD... well maybe you wouldn't be asking to marry them lol

the time-mismatch seems to stretch as I get older, back then it was less... I guess when I'm 100 I'll feel like 60 or so

I think it's a combination of the two.... haha those kid suck! haha.... but I'm also getting older lol, I have a bunch of gray hair now :(
wow, that is an awfully huge ass pikachu you have with you...every kid will go crazy when they see one. You can use even that to scare the neighbour's dog.
hahaha curiously enough my dogs are not afraid of it... and they are scared easily

I like the style of your drawings. Are they done by hand or on a computer?
hahaha well I don't like to add text in between the comic, but I guess since the first panel you must have been wondering about the pikachu lol. I draw on a computer using a drawing tablet (Gaomon PD 1560), but I don't use that many drawing tools to improve the drawing just because I'm too lazy to learn the tools (haha actually no time for that)
