Oh Dragon Fly... How Close Can I Really Get to You?

I just got lucky as ever just yesterday with this super cool dude or dudette not sure the sex. You be the judge.
I cannot wait to be able to afford a Olloclip for my iPhone (A zoom lens attachment) and or a professional camera. I'm sure I could get much closer especially using the AE/AF lock via my iPhone's factory installed camera app. Plus with the Olloclip working in unison.

Hi Kaith, actually it was pretty easy besides setting up my iPhone for the macro zoom. That part took a while to try and master, but over time after doing it many times over. It became second nature to me :)
The part where I got close to the dragon fly to snap it was pure luck I believe and because this particular one would land and stay on the flowers it landed on for a long time without fleeing again.
I had maybe a good minute or so to snap it each time it landed. Pure luck on that note as it was difficult in the past to capture any other dragon fly photos I managed to capture clearly. So yeah this time wasn't hard at all.

Absolutely amazing. I have never seen this beautiful creature so close before. I didn't know they are so colourful. I think the best photo of a dragonfly that I have ever seen.
