Saltpeter is transparent or white. It is a natural mineral. It refers to nitrate minerals such as potassium nitrate, sodium nitrate, calcium nitrate, etc.

The principle of saltpeter ice making:
When saltpeter is in the water,
Will dissolve in water,
At this point, it will absorb a lot of heat.
Water is iced because of the temperature drop.

Natural saltpeter:
Natural saltpeter can be found in alkaline soil, caves, wall feet, springs and other places, mainly from water rich in nitrate minerals, which is formed by infiltration all the year round.
Filtration method,
Find a pot, put in water, put these things into the water, dissolve it in water, take out the water, and dry the water to get the saltpeter powder.

Nitrate ice making method:
(1) Take a small pot and put half of the water inside.
(2) Put the small pot into the large basin
(3) Put the saltpeter powder in the large basin
(4) pouring water into the large basin

Among the large and small pots, ice will appear slowly.
The ice in the small pot is the ice to use.
the large pot is can use repeatedly, after the large pot is dried, it will get the saltpeter powder.

note,
Don't use wrong .
The ice in the small pot is clean ice.
The ice in the big pot will contain nitrate minerals. I don't agree with the use of large pot , because it contain nitrate minerals,
so I proposed the ice-splitting method for large and small pots.

硝石为透明或白色状，是一种天然矿物，指的是硝酸盐矿物，如硝酸钾、硝酸钠、硝酸钙、等等.

硝石制冰的原理:
当硝石在水中的时候,
会溶解于水,
此时会吸收大量的热,
水因为温度的降低,而结成了冰.

天然硝石的取得:
天然硝石可见于碱土、洞穴、墙脚、泉边等地，主要是由富含硝酸盐矿物的水，常年浸润生成。
过滤法,
找一个盆子，放入水，将取得的这些东西放入，溶解于水中之后，取出这些水，将水晒干便可得到硝石粉.

硝石制冰的方法:
(1)取一小盆，内放一半的水
(2)将小盆放入大盆中
(3)在大盆中放入硝石粉
(4)倒水入大盆

大小盆之中，会慢慢的出现冰。
小盆之中的冰就是要使用的冰。
大盆内的，是要反覆使用的，把大盆给晒干，就又会得到硝石粉.

注意,
别拿错了,小盆内的冰才是干净的冰，大盆内的冰会含有硝酸盐矿物，本人不赞同取用大盆的冰，所以提出了大小盆的取冰法.
