Tokens school 4 - Learning about ENG and SCOT !

In these series of posts I learn about tokens created on steem-engine.com.

But today with learning about Steem Engine Token the only thing I've found that's it's the the native token on the website.

So, I think it's better to learn together in such posts, so steemians when they read such series, they will find even information in the comments.

Since I didn't find a lot of information about that, let me ask questions and maybe someone or @aggroed will answer them.

I see that ENG is Steem Engine Token, but what's E, N and G ? It should be SET, no ?

I'm not native English speaker and when I see ENG, I always think about English. lol

I found out that SCOT is ''SMTs'' , am I right ? If so, tell me please whats, S, C, O and T ?

But there is a cool thing I've found and that's https://scot.today/ , it's kind of coinmarketcap on steem. ☺

A lot of steemians told me that steem is the main currency, but I see that ENG is the native one, can you explain please what's the difference ?

I have this question as well : ''Is it possible to buy any token in steem-engine with bitcoin or other cryptocurrency ?

I like the fact that the community didn't wait for those SMTs to be created and they decided just to create their own thing, so maybe more people will understand the importance of SMT what will incentivise steemit team create them faster.

Of course I like that any community now or idea can be empowered by a token. But the question I have and a lot of steemians is : ''Is it the creation of tokens that made steem lose so much in the price in the last 2 months, or something else ?''

I thought if we have such technology now, we should see a positive effect.

Are people selling steem to buy steem-engine tokens and is it good for steem ?

Maybe @taskmaster4450 can reply to that, because I've seen him writing a really good post about the topic, but I still don't understand everything.

Anyway, there is a positive side of all this. Steemians are building more in steem. More communities were created. More ideas empowered and that may lead to more investors invest in steem in the future.

All the questions I asked is to understand more about the system, so please help me and my followers to learn.

I'm thinking now even about creating a new community to learn together about all this and to share ideas I have and to support all those who are interested in tokenizing steem. Let me think more about the consept and I will do it.
