DtubesnapQ #4 : Are you here for money ?

in #dtubesnapq8 years ago

Most people join steem to earn money, because it's a platform that rewards for content we create.

Sometimes people start to tell others that they are here only for money.

They can find any link to that, a username, self upvote, using bots ... etc.

I called myself @clixmoney because we all click to earn money, without clicking we can't do a lot of things on our pc, we click on the mouse million times a day and the same for the keyboard, in fact we are clicking on those keys to type something.

Never judge someone by his name or something else, but you can criticize actions.

Anyway, it's not about me. It's about the idea that it's ok to be here for money, but it's not ok to be here only for money. And you don't have to try so hard to hide that you are not here for money. The more you hide that, the more it's clear that it's not the case. lol

What I mean by all this, is that's ok to be here for money and I don't see any issue in that. After all we are all earning them, and we always can decline payouts if we want. lol

So, are you here for money ? ☺

My first video to watch of the day :) Yes, I am here for the money but in choosing to sign up here it was motivated by doing something I enjoy to make extra money. I agree, nothing wrong with that. I am very impressed with the community efforts here and without that I may of felt different about the experience. So I think both things work well together. Becoming more and more involved and interacting does make me think less about profit, but at the same time works to show more growth in earnings so its a win, win situation :)

You are right, when we engage more with the community, we forget about the rewards and we just enjoy creating. ☺

I have really loved you a lot of questions I have presented to you.

You question you are just here for money? Actually your important question is very important in our current beautiful platform.

If you tell me I do not say I am not just for money. I have come to learn a lot on this site and I have been learning that for 10 months. You can check my account and see that I have been using Steemit for 10 months. I have not raised a single money till today. If I had the kind of attitude that I just came for money, then of course I got up from here. I have come to learn a lot from here and I have been learning that for 10 months I have learned a lot from you, who like you are a good user like you, I will not say I am not just here for money

It's nice that you are here not only for money. I'm here one yuear and half and I'm still learning things. So, we always earn here and that's the best thing about steem. So keep learning, keep improving, keep creating content on all dapps.

P.s. : “I'm a very close friend of @soufiani and I'm very thankful that he motivates me to make videos for dtube :), thanks soufiani”

Who didn't do things for money, i means we live for money in thought of becoming rich and fulfilling our luxuries life. Doing things for getting money is 100% excellent but becoming greedy is not.
I totally disagreed with the statement, “Money can't buy happiness” if not then why we are sad if we don't have money

You are right, money is important for all of us and we shouldn't hide that we are not here for money. Of course money is not everything in life, but it plays big role in our life anyway. Thanks for being motivated by @soufiani , welcome to our @dtube family. ☺

Yup I want to add a quote “Once become rich than philosopher” I think it's a very correct quote. Because some of the people are first trying to become philosophers instead of rich I don't know if they are doing these for names.

Yes I feel very good to make my first DtubesnapQ video on dtube :)
Have a great day @clixmoney

Very interesting question. Before I answer this question, I'd like to tell you how I found steemit. I was not referred by anybody or any friend. I was searching for video editing tutorial on the internet. I was interested to find any side job because my mind job did not earn me enough money. And since I like video editing, I was looking to search for video editing tutorial so that I could make some money. But then one of the search result was "video tutorial on how to make money on steemit." And that's how I found steemit, because I was looking for any side job that can earn me money, okay, clixmoney. I came here for the money but stay for the community. Thanks @iamjadeline

And by the way, I I thought you are here because of the money. Tthat's what your username suggest, but now I know you are more than that! You are here for the community.

Thanks a lot. I am happy that you realise that I'm not here for money. Very interesting story about joining steem as well. Keep steeming on. ☺

I have a friend who recently powered down all of his 300SP. He is quitting Steemit and selling his Steem for US$150. His sole focus was on money, but he refused to put the work into his blogs or other areas on the platform. I can see with Steemhunt, Steem Monsters, DTube, etc. multiple ways of generating money on the platform. You have to put the work in to get anywhere.

You are right, we have so much dapps to use. There are a lot of way to earn here.

About people who are quitting or powering down, they seems don't understand how steem is awesome. When I was posting only on steemit for 11 months, I was earning cents from that, just when I joined @dtube I started to earn something. That's why I'm still here, improving an growing. I wish all the best for steem blockchain. It in all our interest to contribute more in the apps. Thanks for the nice comment. ☺

I also buy, upgrade and sell Steem Monsters cards. Sometimes I play but it takes a lot of time.

I don't really have a lot of time to play games with my earned steem, but I like the consept and I respect what they are doing.

as i have said multiple times, come for the money stay for the community!

Every single person that is in crypto is in it for the money.
Who ever tells you otherwise is straight up lying!

You are right, mostly we are here for money, just some want to hide this so hard to make others think that they are better.

This sums it up:

Money is the need of hour. But as you said that it should not be only for money.

Have a good day.

I am here for the knowledge and knowledge is money so we are here to earn

Very nice comment, I like it. We are here to earn and this is the most important. ☺

I joined steemit as a way to make money.

Now I use the platform as a way to earn income for doing things that I already enjoy doing. I am happy that I can share my thoughts, words and wisdom and receive rewards for doing things that I already would be doing.

I'm glad that you are making some money and enjoying at the same time. ☺
