Dawud in a cooking class for kindergarten kid

My sister sent some pictures of my boy from hometown, Dawud was joining his classmates on a cooking class yesterday. It's a surprise for me because I knew he's not someone who likes to spend time in the kitchen. He loves everything about vehicles.

It's really a great improvement on public education in a small town like Lhokseumawe now. Even a kindergarten kid has a chance to learn outside the school. It's really different from my school days 30-40 years ago. I love the fact that they just adjust the educational system to the latest method to improve and teach children from early stage.

Her sister, Kimmy always there to help, Dawud will learns that he has a big sister who also well-known as a helper in our family😁

Though I'm not there to watch them grow, I love that I always get the updates from my family, thanks to any apps that enabling us to keep in touch with everyone from all over the world, live and real time😉.

Few weeks ago when he started his pre-school, he refused to wears the uniform because he doesn't like the colour of the uniform😂 but after 6 weeks, his mother told us that he was willing to wear it before he went to school,last monday😆

and this 2,5 yo girl was ready to go to the market to shop, with her umbrella and shopping bag😂

Zareen has her own idea about playing alone at home. Her sister and brother are going to school already, so she spends her times with her mother. I think that's a better way than wasting her time on gadget and watching television. Eventhough, when they're all gather together at the Grandparent's house, they will create chaotic day by fighting on a gadget😂. I'm happy that we let them play outside instead of giving them gadgets to play inside and easy to watch them mingle with each other.

I only have this boy to watch for and to play with

I remember my childhood, brought up with 8 siblings and friends in the neighborhood, when no gadgets or other electronic devices such as video games or play station, we enjoy our day by playing hide and seek, marbles, rubber jump, picnic and many traditional kid games. When no parents would allowed their children to play in the rain, My Father would taken us to enjoy walking and playing under the rain for hours. None caught flu after that, because My Mom would boiled the water and let us have a warm water bath.

one thing I'm sure about this cousinshood, they know how and what to play together no matter what.

I've seen my grandchildren here in big city spend their time together in a family gathering, they're busy with their own gadgets and not talking to each other like my nephew and nieces who will always stick together and stamped like glue to an adult in our family, could be My Father, the Granny or any of the parents. They called Kimmy's Mom as Umi like Kimmy, Called her father as Abah too. Only Dawud who calls My Father as Father while other cousins would called him GrandPa. They understand it and none asked why.

My nephews and nieces are not the best kid in the world, but we try hard to prepare them to play a good role in social life, start from the family. School education doesn't shape the children character, but the family will. They will learn values from family before they practice it in a bigger community.

I remember when I was a kid, a big family gathering means I can meet all my cousins from My Mom's Families and sometimes My Father's Families too. I love to play with cousins about my age, but we will all play together with the oldest and the youngest cousins too, we would found a best game to play together. Take care of each other and we remain that way until now. No competition against each other, the smartest will help the dumbest, the strongest will take care of the weakest.

what about bullying?

Yeaahh.. we bully each other too, but nothing like the something you call "bullying" in this modern days. We made fun without violence. We fight each other only on the martial art contest in family. We resolve misunderstanding without parent's interferes. We carried on our family values through our life. Blood is thicker than water, we inherit the blood line and we are proud of it.

I wish that the cousins-hood amongs my 12 nephews and nieces will be stronger through the time.
