It was love at first sight;
She was everything I prayed for;
Her beauty was a sight for sour eyes;
And her yoke was easy to bear;
She did not care that my Naira was no Dollars;
She took it and gave me access to the world.
Such was my love and relationship with Crypto
Until in her I found Steem.

Steem seemed ordinary;
Knowing nothing, I thought;
Here is the least enchanting of the Cryptos;
But she smiled and revealed her true beauty;
This was no ordinary beauty;
It was a carnal beauty;
Rooted in divinity;
Those who knew it called it Steemit.

A beauty with a name!
How fortunate can one man be?
To an ordinary church boy she showed the world;
And even though I had no words;
With the allure of lucre she gave me the words;
I ran out of words and she gave me the friends.
Who needs words when you have friends?
All you need is present yourself and they cheer you on.

My romance with steemit is an an ongoing adventure;
Like a mistress she pulls me into her addiction;
With loving arms she makes me forget my past affliction;
Now Facebook and others are mistresses forgone;
My exes see me and wonder at the changes in me;
If they only saw my wallet and friends;
Or the way these new friends engage;
They'd know that this steem romance is forever.
