Breaking up: who is more worried?

How hard are people around the world experiencing a breakup? Scientists have learned the answer to this question: women tolerate it worse, but time heals them better.
Those who are abandoned usually suffer more than those who abandoned themselves or parted by mutual consent. Moreover, women usually completely recover over time and eventually become even stronger emotionally. Men usually do not recover, but simply "pull themselves together."
From the point of view of evolution, the quantity rather than the quality of partners is more important for men, therefore the break in relations is less tragic for them
“For a woman, one meeting can result in nine months of pregnancy and many years of caring for a child, and a man, in principle, may not spend anything on a child. Since women risk due to large biological “investments”, it is evolutionarily beneficial for them to select their partner more selectively.
On average, a person under 30 has three times to break up with a relationship, and at least once it is experienced so hard that it significantly reduces the quality of life for many weeks, or even months.
