Poetry: The Rabbit's Fate
Unaware of the dangers from the hood
Busily looking for delighful food
While feeling really, really good
Away from view, hidden in the patches
On the branch its sharp claws latches
So sharp it leaves one breathless
Unconcerned even though it lost its way
Such an attitude will soon make it pay
For the eagle mark it as its prey
Its speed leaves everything to dust
Clutched on its claws, a rabbit's aghast
Unable to escape, for the eagle's fast
The rabbit's fate, everyone knows best
Life is a difficult and cruel test
One cannot hope to survive without zest
