Poetry: Hidden By The Mist

Your true self hides inside the mist.
Afraid to experience life's twist.
A heart waiting to be sated, in great thirst
but first you must rid of the curse.

You want someone to hear your voice.
To live a life where you have a choice,
To throw away all of your disguises.
To find yourself, to seach for traces.

Yet nothing in life is as easy as it seems.
It's difficult to find a path, even a seam.
Sometimes we are only free inside a dream.
And many times the tears flows like a stream.

Yet giving up means losing the light.
To lose the light is to lose sight
of a future that is looking so bright.
To live in this cruel world we must fight.
