What is a didactic cinquain?
A didactic cinquain is a specific kind of cinquain, which follows the below pattern:
First line: one word, usually a noun, which also serves as the title of the poem.
Second line: two adjectives describing the title.
Third line: three verbs that show action
Fourth line: a short sentence that show emotions about the poem's subject
Fifth line: a one-word synonym of the title
