Do flies understand bad smells?
Hi everyone's
Flies! That is the term for these insects, they are one of the disease-carrying insects for humans through the transfer of bacteria from the legs and involved in them and then carried to food that will be consumed by humans so that the food becomes contaminated due to contamination, which is not good for health if consumed.
Everyone in the world has agreed that his presence around us is disliked, because he is very dirty and he likes dirty locations too.
Flies really like to perch on unhealthy locations and are also disliked by humans, these locations are:
- On the body's of the carcass that is already smelly and there are many belatung caterpillars
- Every good creature feces that comes from humans themselves or even from animals
- In stale food or expired food that has excreted bad bacteria
- On every pus, blood, and other nasty thing.
- and other bad things that are not good for health.
So, based on every fly that likes the locations mentioned above, people do not like it because it is very dirty.
If we examine his behavior, it can be said that he is one of the disease-carrying insects for every human being.
But behind that dirty behavior I thought about something, how can he endure something dirty, does he like something ugly? If so, then what must be inhaled so as not to be disturbed by unkind things.
Is the sense of smell different from humans? Or how does it breathe ...
Yes, of course it is true that it is different from humans, humans don't like dirty things while flies have a hobby of enjoying strong or foul odors.
Experts say that flies or other insect species have a different way of breathing from us humans, when humans inhale something, their brain will detect whether something is bad or not.
Meanwhile, flies breathe with one part of their body through many small holes called spiracles. This opening forms part of the tube called the trachea. Each tube leads to a fluid-filled tracheol, where oxygen dissolves and then diffuses across the walls of the tracheol and into some insect cells, so they don't know which one is bad or not, they just detect an unpleasant odor or odor but, according to him, already fit for consumption.
If it is simply concluded that they only detect the aroma that has the advantage of food that comes from a pungent smell, while the way of thinking (the brain) does not know whether it is smelly or rotten, whether it is good or not.
What are the next steps, in this case it will be explained again in a future post, of course in the same blog.
To be continue......
