The Diary Game || Exploring More In The Laboratory Field - 16/01/2024

As my day begun when I woke up around 5:45am to sweep the compound and clean up my room, I also made prayers to God and then hurried up to take my bath, dress up and go to work. Uhmm, I was feeling a little bit dizzy but had to manage. Rather than trekking to work, I border a tricycle and got to the office by 8:00 am which was actually late already.
My colleague was already in the duty of cleaning up the office, then I just had to wash the necessities that have been used to run series of test, things like Widal tube, hb tube, urine bottle and petri dish. The stuffs wasn't really much so? I finished up in time.
Whilst we waited for doctor who was held back due to traffic jam, we collected patients samples and pleaded with them to excercise patience for doctor's arrival.

Just after collecting the blood sample, I was given the chance to try out the pipetting of blood which is done by, putting 5 drops of diluted HCl into an EDTA bottle then use a pipette to sip the blood from the tube, clean the body of the pipette then gradually realease the blood into the tissue till it reads at exactly 0.02l then insert into the EDTA bottle and shake, this is used to check blood percentage.

As evening approaches, I was sent to a restaurant I usually visit to go and buy a soup named (okro soup) which is commonly known as one of igbos favorite meal. As I was going, I couldn't see any vehicle heading to my direction because of traffic jam, so I trekked a distance then enter a bus that highlighted me to my destination. I got the foodnd then headed back to the office.

It was 5pm already so? I prepared faeces for microscopic examination and for FOB check. After preparation, I recorded that out of four persons, three of them have ulcer and needs urgent treatment.

I came back home, rested a little while, took my bath and ate my dinner.
