Brief Intro & Facts on Forgiveness
Forgiveness is an act of letting go of a wrong deed done to a person. To some people, forgiving is so hard, while some forgiveness happens too easily. For me, I think forgiveness is hard when the hurt is so much from someone dear to you. But forgiveness is key to a happy life because you let go of grudges and heavy hearts.
When it comes to family, this is your backbone, and root being offended by them is inevitable, but forgiveness creates a more lasting bond in the family. We cannot say that there are no istuations where we have incidences of misbehaviour from family and friends but it is in our place to let go and forgive as we can.
EXPERIENCE - My Story
I have a cousin who had a quarrel with his mother and they stopped communicating for years. It went to a point that my cousin vowed never to visit home due to this quarrel they had. It got to the extent that he said he won't only not visit home but wont visit to see his mother until his mother is dead.
Sometimes, we are mislead in our angry world. The feeling in us during this state of mind is everything we do is correct and right. In a situation where one person is only angry, it mkes it alot easier to come back to the path of peace. But when both parties are all angry, finding the peace path is usually a hard nut to crack.
In this situation between my cousin and the mother, they are both angry. None of them is ready to let go despite several efforts to bring them together. It has been a case of both persons holding grounds firmly without any justifying point to keep themmin this unending trap.
The family has not been the same since that incident. The love and bond once cherished have chattered due to non forgiveness, and none of them is ready to accept their mistakes. The spirit of nonforgiveness is more than what we thought. It brings destruction other than buulding.
For forgiveness to happen, the person hurt should be ready to let go while the offender should accept his/her mistake. In a situation where two persons are all hurt, it is better they al lay down their differences and embrace love and harmony. Nothing kills families or friendship other than marlice, grudges that come from unforgiveness.
Since they both reconciled, there are emerging growth and love in the family once more. But we could understand a house under seige for years, and it will gradually return to normalcy over time.
Let's learn to forgive and let go grievances against one another to foster better coexistence.

When you let go of a wrong act done to you by anybody, that's forgiveness by so doing you have purged your heart of every hurt and every burden in your heart. I know to some people forgiveness is very hard but irrespective of the weight of the wrong done to us, for the sake of our mental health and physical well-being. It's actually not easy to forgive, as you already said it's complicated for some people to forgive and let it go but it's a different thing to some people because they handle forgiveness so easily. Of course people aren't the same and it doesn't matter how long it takes to forgive, what counts is that we all need to forgive and move on. Forgiveness is a state of happiness and laughter, where there's forgiveness there's happiness and laughter at the corner. The best thing about forgiveness is that we earn compensation from God because he forgive us when we forgive our fellow humans being. Best of luck bro.
