Not surprisingly, the American left is melting down over this, thinking that Boris Johnson just overthrew Parliament. Even though the suspension of Parliament isn't unheard of, the American left thinks that the suspension with be permanent. Especially since they have these fantasies of anyone who is even slightly politically on the 'right' becoming the tyrant that they think of them to be. American progressives are lunatics.
They have a LARPing fantasy of fighting a tyrant because they aren't in any real danger and their shallow lives empty of principle terrifies them. They must control reality so their fragile mental state isn't destroyed.

If only they knew what the future held. As the national systems begin to quake and loosen. As the cracking foundations of modern society, in these United States, decay under the duress of the fruits of their modernly progressive "labor". They fret about not getting their uber eats delivered fast enough or fret about their favorite flavor of blended starbucks piss water not being up to their usual standards in the morning. They have no skills at all that are separate from modern convenience. They are so separate from nature in thinking a walk in a park in the whole experience. Not one true single hardship has ever been in their life. All which has led to, as you correctly brought up, their lives empty of principle. They are the tyrants, as in they want everything micromanaged, and compartmentalized, and controlled. Which is even at the center of their identity politics. Soon enough, the order of modern society that coddles them will fall into dust. To go back the way it ought to be.
It's not suprisingly that the parliament is chasing a no brexit deal there. I guess having the speech earlier as on the 14th will definitely overide any authorization the parliament have really. I guess it's a really smart move by Boris there. Political calculation there at it's finest.
For sure. Against it or not, it's a smart move. I love how they still don't have a written constitution after all this time.
