Israel's Drone War Weekend
Tel Aviv was busy the last weekend. Israel attacked three countries and a number of enemies with drone strikes in its neighborhood. The escalation of drone warfare (first in Yemen) has been evident lately.
Israel struck Shite-militia positions in western Iraq. The argument being that the militias are backed by Iran. Some are of course. It's also true that the mostly Shite-Iranian-backed Iraqi military has been fighting alongside the US in the fight against ISIS. But leave that aside. Parts of the Iraqi Parliament has called for US troops to exit the country in response. Their presence leading to a larger Iranian influence within Iraq to counter-balance. The Parliament also called the attacks by Israel a "Declaration of War".
Positions inside Syria were also hit. The explanation here is that Iranian forces were planning an attack on northern Israel. Something that I believe has 0% credibility and which would result in a major response from Western powers close to the Israeli government (see: U.S.A).
Israel's old nemesis Lebanon also got some drone action. Strikes fell in Beirut targeting Hezbollah, and in the north of the country within the Bekaa Valley. The valley being home to The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine General Command (PFLP-GC), another enemy of Israel. The President of Lebanon uses the same language as the Iraqis, calling the attacks a "Declaration of War".
I personally believe these attacks against Iranian proxies (mostly) is partially domestic in nature. The prime minister has a tough election ahead of him and a war with Tehran is still seen as a winning strategy. The attacks can also be seen as a "Hail Mary" attempt to get the Iranians to response, sparking U.S. involvement which until this point has simmered since the Tanker Wars.

So Isreal bombed Iran based on the premonition that they feared that Iran might be planning the first move? Since the Iranians alongside the US are fighting ISIS, isn't this viable enough? I mean isn't that a justifiable cause really? Irz really bad that Isreal has been bombings ostentatiously theses days without even logical reasons to the attacks really. When will the propaganda end?
