Fruit jam is made of fruit stewed in sugar. Traditional whole fruit preserves are popular in different countries where they're known by a native name in each of the countries. In Southern Asia they are referred to as murabba.(मुरब्बा)
Making fruit jam at home is easy and trusted that it does not contains any chemicals.
Here I am sharing step wise recipe of pineapple jam.

(1) Peel the pineapple and grate the flesh

(2) Make juice out of it and filter, you can use without filtering also but for that you have to take inside pulp of pineapple.
(3) Take equal quantity of sugar e.g. if 1/2 liter is juice then take 1/2 kg of sugar.

(4) Mix juice and sugar, bring it to a boil and then simmer till it reached desired consistency.

(5) Add lemon juice and spices( Powder of cardamom, nutmeg, mace and cloves. All spices are optional)
(6) Cool down to room temperature and fill into clean and dry glass jar.
