Economic Diary Game 21 June 2024 || Shopping to the market
Good night fellow entrepreneurs..
Shopping at the morning market is my habit almost every day. Today I shopped in larger quantities compared to usual days. The problem is that many food stalls and household necessities are out of stock.
I was at the market around 10.00 am and was accompanied by my wife. As can be seen in the picture, there were so many buyers or market visitors who came that I didn't get a parking space.
I immediately went to the fishmonger's place to buy fish and shrimp while haggling for the right price. Because it's still Eid, fish prices are still quite expensive.
Tonggol fish is sold for IDR 25,000 per kilogram from the normal price of IDR 20,000 per kilogram. Likewise, the price of vaname shrimp is sold at around IDR 60,000 per kg compared to the normal price of IDR 50,000 per kg. So I bought 2 kg tuna for IDR 50,000 plus 1 kg vaname shrimp for IDR 60,000 for a total of 110,000 rupiah or around 34.5 STEEM.
then I bought vegetables in the form of cabbage leaves, soup leaves, spring onions and also mustard leaves. Not to forget, I also bought 2 kg of bean sprouts, 1 kg of tomatoes and 1 kg of lime. Here I spent around IDR 60,000 or the equivalent of 18.75 STEEM.
Before going home I stopped at the food store to buy cakes for the children at home. This is actually my habit before coming home from the market, I want to buy snacks for my children.
In the afternoon I started cleaning the stall and getting ready to sell. I packed up all my needs at the shop while waiting for lunch to be ready to cook. It took me about an hour to complete this job.
After performing Friday prayers at the mosque, I just started selling. but only in the afternoon did we see several customers coming. After serving the food, I also prepare the drinks that my customers have ordered.
At 18.40 I started to turn off the lights and closed my shop because soon it would be sunset time. After performing Maghrib prayers, I opened the shop again and started serving the customers who were waiting.
