Hello everyone. I hope all are doing well and enjoying their life by the grace of Allah Almighty. Today is my first post in Steem Fashion&Style for Steemit Engagement Challenges. ⭐ What's your favorite online shopping app & why?

As I said above, I am not an online shopping guy but I prefer offline shopping. The reason is simple here in Pakistan there are some people who do scams and will either send you fake low quality item or will not send you anything after getting money. I am not talking about everyone but here like 20-30% of the sellers are doing this.

But as I have to answer here about my favorite app then I will go with Daraz.pk for local purchase and will prefer Amazon for International Items. I used Daraz.pk in 2020 last time when I placed 2 orders. First order was of White Oats and second was for my younger brother because he wants Finger Sleeves to play PUBG.

The thing that saved me on this online shopping app is research and careful looking. I checked many sellers there and choose the one who has almost no negative feedback and the item they were sending were same as they described and showed in the pictures. After the orders, I got both items and they were good just like images and videos.

Why I left this app because after few days my friend ordered triggers to play PUBG but the seller send low quality ones and he asked Daraz support for refund. After that I was just not feeling safe to spend money in online shopping and I quit using Daraz.pk. I only prefer offline shopping where I can check product before buying it because I am paying with my hard earned money.

⭐ What would you prefer to buy through your favorite online shopping app?

The app Daraz.pk is good one and their team analyze the seller first and then let it sell his products. In start, there were not much rules for sellers but now they verify their identity through Identity Card (ID) and hold their money for some days so that if buyer asks for refund and it is solid reason they cut money from seller account.

So I will prefer Daraz app to use and the product I prefer now will be case for my smartphone Oppo F3, creative wall stickers to decorate my room, good quality slippers, and a FORTUNE TIME watch for myself. All of these products costs as:

Product Price in PKR Equal in STEEM
FORTUNE TIME Men Watch 520 7.78
Flip Flop Men Slippers 767 11.48
AT Creative Wall Decors 383 5.73

The prices are only for today and if the seller wants, he can change them at anytime. Also the Steem price is for today's market conversion rate of Steem/PKR.

⭐ Is it cheap or costly to buy through online apps? Share price in Steem and your country's currency

The app from where I purchased items and will order again is cheap because it was made on the idea to serve the lower and middle class first and then will target rich class also. Since it's launch, it is providing items in normal price and some items are even in low price than offline markets.

Currently on Daraz.pk, there are both items cheap and costly depending on the range one have. If you can afford costly items, Daraz has listed those items on the app but if you can only afford cheap then you can go with cheap ones. I personally go with mid range items not cheap not costly but in between.

Let me share some products' name, their price in PKR and in STEEM. I will choose products that I want to buy or are my favorite. The above products will not be included as they are mentioned already in the previous answer.

Product Price in PKR Equal in STEEM
Black Rose Imported Seeds 169 2.54
Card Holder Zipper Wallet 160 2.41
Vintage T9 Trimmer 989 14.88
Electric Mosquito Trap Lamp 1,549 23.30
Liquid Soap Dispenser 959 14.43
Mini Electric Fan 77 1.16
HP Elitebook 840-G5 8th-Gen 92,999 1,398.91

As you can see in the above table that there are products in low price as well as in high price. The products prices depend on who is buying them either rich, middle, or poor class. I belongs to middle class family and I prefer normal range products that comes under my budget.

⭐ Would you prefer to buy items through online apps or offline? Which do you think is the best way of shopping?

As I said in the first answer that I am not an online shopping guy and I prefer offline shopping. The reason is there are scammers doing continuously scams in the world and in my country there are many fake stores. So I prefer to go to the market and buy the product.

I also prefer quality so from online apps, we can't judge or know what quality will be of the product. But in offline shopping, we can check quality of product by seeing it and touching it. I think there are like 60-70% less fake things in offline shopping than in online because customer is right infront of the shop keeper.

Moreover in online shopping, we have to put our credit card details and it is super risky to put them online. There are thousands of frauds happening every hour online and hackers are stealing credit cards from online apps. So I think better and best option is to buy everything from offline physical stores instead of relying on online stores.

Your welcome

Daraz is also a famous online shopping apapplication in our country. Personally I think daraz is a very valuable application as it gives some attractive discounts. Also I have the ability to refer reviews uploaded by others.

Yes Daraz is better than other shopping apps in my country also. But still I prefer offline shopping because it has many benefits with no risk.
