The Diary Game 3: BetterLife with Steem [27:05:2023] // Busy Weekend Vibes

Greetings fellow steemitians and welcome to my blog as I share how my Saturday was spend. I hope we are having a good weekend wherever we are. It was a busy weekend for me as I had lots of errands to run in town. The previous night was short as I had a lot to do within the day. I had to wake up early from bed, did some few house chores and prepared breakfast for my kids before going out.

My first errand for the day was to go to an electronic shop to buy a new TV set. My previous TV was flat screen 45 Inches but was not smart TV. I needed a smart TV and did some inquiries which I was directed to a particular shop at the commercial street. It was a new shop and the owner was still trying to arrange everything together. When I arrived the shop, I noticed the shop owner was my former secondary school classmate. I negotiated the prices of different screens and settled with Samsung crystal smart TV (2022 model).

I paid for the screen and there was no electricity to do testing before carrying it to the house. I gave contacts of a friend who is equally my neighbor who I will send to do the testing and carry the tv to my house. I did so because I had other errands to run.

My sister in-law from the USA will be at home early June and her son’s birthday is on the 3rd of June. We spoke at the previous night and she send me the invitation for the birthday party.

I have decided to print t-shirts for the 6 grand children including my daughter and son, and also make available 4 magic cups as a family souvenir to my sister-in-law. While at the documentation, I negotiated the prices for the T-shirts (3000frs per T-shirt, and 4000frs per magic tea cup). The owner of the documentation asked me to snap the paper and reminded him on Tuesday to print the orders.

From the documentation, I had a parcel to collect from an agent sent by my sister. I took a bike to the agent’s office and collected the parcel. I passed by a bakery to buy some cookies for my kid's snacks.

During evening hours, the bakery is always crowded but I was surprised that the bakery was almost empty. I did not waste time passing an order and was served in less than no time.

I left the bakery and took a bike back home. While at home, I had to open the parcel my sister sent to me. It was a surprise parcel and as if she knew my face cream was finished. She sent face cream, my father's rubs and some body spray.

I was feeling famished and I went to the kitchen and heated food and ate. I took a warm bath and went to bed without wasting any time. It was a hectic day, and I had to sleep early in order to get enough rest. Thank you for reading and until my next diary, have a splendid weekend.
