Chart Your Course Challenge
A Moment to Reflect:
It is not to often that we are challenged to look beyond the present, but to the past, and future all at the same time. Often our compass only points in one direction, we place the wind to our backs and set sail. The heading is aligned, and we move that way until the seas ease.
On this journey, @calumam snagged my line with a nomination for the Chart Your Course Challenge originated by @dreemsteem.
The moment I started to cast off into the void of my goals, I realized I had no clue what my goals were. Daily I seek to empower others and promote a positive curation community. This is all I know!
Determined to reflect accurately upon my ambitions, experiences, and morals I dove into this challenge and proceeded as follows.
What is your Steemit goal?
To obtain creative freedom by removing the mental limitations I place on my own creative capabilities
Prioritize these three aspects of Steemit for you: Posting, Curating, Commenting
Curating – I think curation is my highest priority, the reason behind this is the more I can help people to showcase more of them, the more I learn about me.
Commenting – Commenting is second to me this, builds interactions and relationships between people and groups. This priority may increase after communities go live.
Posting – Posting while important for personnel growth, is not my focus. I post daily for community growth however I find it more fulfilling reading others work and studying the value of post not written by me.

1 month – Reach minnow status
3 months – Have curated over 90 different and unique communities and people
6 months – Community Growth Project has 50 active members
12 months – Community Growth Project has 10 members posting daily curation videos
And because everything should end on a sweet note... name your favorite dessert!
My favorite desert is the almighty Cheesecake. Why? Because it’s just amazing, and you can never have enough of it.

While writing this I was creatively uncomfortable, as it challenged me to investigate whom I am, why I am, and where I would like to be. I hope this challenge also helps all of you to visualize your path and Chart Your Course.
