Bucket List : Flying 6600 ft High

Last summer while camping at Kabak Valley, I decided to cross off something of my bucket list and we drove to Ölüdeniz-Fethiye for paragliding. Even though I don't have fear of height -at all-, I was nervous as we were climbing to the hill. Once we were up, it was cold, it was high-not just high high, real high-, it felt very unprotected and I was shaking like a leaf!

But once we took of, right at that second, all the shaking, nervousness, all the thoughts on my mind went away. There was only the sky, the sea and me (and my pilot thankfully). I was flying, feeling the wind all over my skin, could see things more than I could ever imagine -all of the valleys around, caretta carettas swimming in the sea, sailing ships- I could see them all at once.

And then my pilot decided I was too comfortable, got a little bit to the extreme and started making moves, he was swinging and tumbling, we were parallel to the ground, looking down and looking up to the sky.

Once we landed I realized I had never felt so alive in my entire life. I definetely recommend everyone to try paragliding. I most definetely will do it again, might get trained to be a pilot myself, who knows :)
