Estoy más cerca de la nada que de mí,
más cerca de la muerte
que del vivir.
¡Qué pena que al final
sin querer
mi vida se irá de mí!
Me cultivaron en la ignorancia,
me ocultaron el pensamiento
libre de las palabras,
me abandonaron en el saber
de la necedad falsa.
Ahora que ya me iré,
nunca me arrepentiré
de haber sido locura en mi viaje,
haber vivido mi pensamiento
con libertinaje,
sin haber sido siervo de su cordaje.
Estoy más cerca de la nada que de mí,
cautivo en vida, y libre...
cuando llegó su fin.
