Incredible day flying my paraglider on memorial day! Epic site in SoCal

This flying site is called Horse. It is 45 minutes from San Diego. I was humbled by the massive area that we were flying. Several great pilots were there. Learned a few new things. All around great day!

Epic film. I want to do this one day.

Thanks my friend! It was a great day for me. I have always wanted to fly from a young age. I am just glad I pushed the dream into reality.

That is how it all works. Live the life you want to lead and always seek adventure. :)

@captainobviou3 Was Wonderful to watch Your flight... Thank You

I did a little bit of hang gliding when I was much younger, at the time was considered a pretty dangerous sport.

UpVoted & Followed... please consider following me. Thanks Again !!

You're most welcomed... was curious how long have You been paragliding and what is the highest altitude You've done so far ? Thanks Again 4 the video !!

I have only been flying for 4 months. I just got my USHPA Rating a month ago. My highest altitude so far was 4500 AMSL. I am a noob.

Hello my friend
This is a great adventure but I hope you enjoyed it

This is a very addicting sport. I love it! I can't seem to get enough. Looking forward to doing this for the rest of my life. Incredible people in this sport, and much safer than it was in the 90's when it first started. Thanks for watching!

Wonderful picture, wonderful seems to be flying there :)

Thanks! It was a great day!

Nice! Would love to do that someday. Thanks for ride :)

For sure! Thanks for flying @captainobviou3 airlines. ;)

Great video. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride!

Thanks for watching!

Sorry for jumping ship from commenting on YouTube to here for that other vario I was on about. It's the Syride SYS'One V3.

Yes I have seen these. How do you like it?

Not had chance to try it out yet even though I've had it 2 years. Whenever the weather would be good my back pain would flare up. My last proper flight was back in 2012, other than that a short hop off a beach dune in 2014 on a borrow old Sky Yang.

Thank you, short but sweet. That hill behind in the thumbnail is the reason we went there. It's called Rhossili on the Gower Peninsula, South Wales and it's a mecca for PG pilots. Unfortunately on this trip to the seaside, the wind was too strong for the main hill. There's plenty of 'Rhossili' footage from other pilots on YouTube, on a clear day the view is amazing. I've only flown the main hill once and it had to be a quick descent flight because I forgot to tighten the legs straps and so I couldn't get into harness. It took 3 minutes to reach the beach all the while hanging from my balls which ached quite a bit lol. Sam's flight on the same trip in 2009 was considerably longer. Jealous was I :)

Yeah, I didn't make that mistake again :)

Duuude! That's amazing... Is it hard to control?
Great footage there and excellent video quality. Very professional. Can't wait to see more.

Thanks for the feed back. I started making these videos for learning purposes. Then I kind of fell in love with editing. I am noob, but I really like it. As far as the flying, I am completely hooked. I love it! Thanks for watching!

This looks like so much fun!

Its great fun! See you in the air!
