New To Steem - Excited To Share What We do

Greetings Steemians,

This is my first post here. I'm a father of 4 with an amazing wife and have been working online since 1994. Yes, that makes me an old fart. However, it means I've been in the content producing business for many, many years. 

I'm a digital marketer by trade, more specifically SEO. I know you likely see TONS of peeps saying the same. I can actually say I was there at the beginning. If you never optimized for Webcrawler, Inktomi, Alta Vista, Lycos, Excite...then they missed the wave or maybe not. Their was a piece of irony in that last sentence. Let's see who gets it.  So I'm what they call a first generation SEO. 

I've spoken at so many conferences on the subject, I've lost count, and in many countries around the world. I've also been named to numerous Top 100 SEO's in the world lists. 

So if you're wondering what I did with that, I did a TON of consulting. In 1 year, the consulting was worth about 200,000 air miles of travel. I didn't know whether I was going or coming, or what timezone I was in. So I decided to slow down a bit and went back to my roots as a broadcaster...as prior to becoming a full time SEO, I was a Television Director & all around production guy. I worked for various broadcast entities and freelance gigs like college & pro football games, and wrapped up my TV days with 5 years at NBC in Houston.

So when the travel from consulting became overwhelming, I began doing live streaming to teach online. My nickname used to be SEGuru. So I did (44)  ninety minute episodes of SEGuru's Search Engine Spotlight. After which I met my wife and we consolidated a handful of radio shows into a new 24/7 online radio network catering to a super niche group of webmasters. 

We then took what we learned from that and launched our 2nd network that's been on the air now for 13 years, and it's still on the air kicking ass: http://www.webmasterradio.fm 

                                                           

Then back in late 2014, we cookie-cuttered our first 2 networks and launched a 3rd in the legal cannabis market. Its a 24/7/365 network that runs all original programming. No music, it's all talk...and we discuss all things cannabis. Everything we cover, fits into 1 of 4 categories. Enthusiast, Medical Marijuana, Advocacy & Legislation and of course Cannabusiness. Both networks have the cream of the crop as hosts. They are what we call the movers & shakers and the history-makers. 

Between both networks, we've produced well over 100,000 episodes of content. 

So we'll be sharing our content to the Steem community, and very excited to see the launch of the Steem Media Token technology. It's exactly what I've been looking for to benefit our listeners and contributors.
