FoxTales#4: Not again...
“Ahh! Not again!”, he uttered to himself as he placed his palm over his forehead. But this time, he’s not even really surprised anymore. He has been to this situation over and over again that he no longer feels bad or sad. This time, he is calm. Either that or he’s just numb. Numb to life’s disappointment.
“She left me. She left me like it was nothing. Just like the other one before her. And the one before that. They all left me like I was nothing”, he said.
You cannot trace pain on his face.
Not anymore. He’s perfected the art of pretending until it all became real.
This time, there was just nothing.
He’s hurt too many times he just got used to saying, “Ah! Not again”.
