Day 467 | Lentils Friday

in #life5 years ago (edited)

I started a challenge of taking 100 days off to mainly focus on my health and overall personal development and used this account as a personal blog. I enjoyed it and continued afterward trying to build better habits and find a good balance between health, work and my personal life...

I was not really up for much on friday and came even to the point where I wanted to go get myself some french fries. I managed to resist though and make some lentils instead with lots of paprika. Watching my food intake these next couple of weeks is basically the main focus point and I intend to honor that.

Weight Loss Table

As usuall the first days things tend to go really quickly when it comes down to losing weight.

DayWeight
July 367.4 kg
July 466.3 kg
July 565.9 kg

Nice picture of lentils... seriously, its pretty professional looking. So true, in the beginning all of the water weight comes off and motivates us but then we hit a stall and all of a sudden fries look good again. Good job not going for it though. I’m in a bit of a sugar eating frenzy. I suppose there’s no better time then the present to get my life together. Haha... thanks for the reminder :)

The pictrue aran't the ons I made myself (those looked way worse and i forgot to take a picture). The link of the picture is always clickable on it. I experienced hitting a plateau in the past that seemed impossible to break trough. I'll probably start doing some morning runs after not having eaten in a while, that should tap energy directly from the stored fat.

It's such a challenge to get passed those ups and downs in eating habits, once thigs go as planned it all seems so easy but always the time comes when things reverse and it seems impossible. I still strive toward a choiceless awareness where I just eat heathy all the time without any kind of temptation.I guess 30+ years of bad habits take a while to change.

It does take a while to break these bad habits. I’ve gone 6 months without sugar of any kind and when I release the reins it seems I went off the rails. It was like my body was craving sugar as if each piece of sweet was the last I’d ever have. I’m still working on getting everything back together. Haha… I guess moderation is key here but who wants to hear that 🤷🏼‍♀️ Keep up the good work :)
