Ancient architectural photography - Taihe temple in the Forbidden City古建筑摄影- 故宫太和殿
Chinese architecture has a history of more than five thousand years, and our ancestors have created a splendid architectural culture. It is extensive, profound and magnificent.
In the history of World Architecture, European architecture, Islamic architecture and Chinese ancient architecture are formed the three largest building systems in the world . It has far-reaching influence on the architecture of East Asia, leaving a brilliant culture for human civilization.
Today I’d like to share Taihe Dian in the Forbidden City with you . It was taken by in the year of 2011 when I visited the the Forbidden City in Beijing. It was the most important place that the emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties held a ceremony and the place of accepting the worship of officials. It is solemn and sacred, symbolizing the majesty of the royal family.
This temple is the tallest building in the forbidden city which has the largest wooden structure of the existing hall, although it has experienced hundreds of years, it is still standing proudly. It is the crystallization of the ancient wisdom of our Chinese nation, and also the treasure of our nation.

今天我要跟大家分享的是我在2011年参观北京故宫时，拍的故宫太和殿。太和殿，俗称“金銮殿”，是明清两代皇帝举行大典和接受百官朝拜的地方。它庄严，神圣，象征着皇家的威严。
太和殿是故宫最高的建筑，也是现存最大的木结构大殿，虽然历经几百年，确依然傲然屹立，令人赞叹。它是我们中华民族古老智慧的结晶，更是我们民族的珍宝。
