Denver Monoliths from Afar streetphotography
These sculptures outside the Denver Art Museum are called "Denver Monoliths" and were created by Beverly Pepper. They add a sense of foreboding to the scene, but most people passing by do not even seem to notice then.
I was fascinated, and took many photographs from near and far. Adding to this interesting site are many odd roof lines closing in and reaching out. Denver sure has an interesting take on public art and buildings.
My post is for @photocontests #streetphotography by @juliank. I was using a point and shoot camera for my trip to Colorado, but I don’t remember which type it was.
@bxlphabet who build this & how are old?
They were created by a lady who was in her 80's when she made them in 2004, Beverly Pepper. She is still living in her 90's today!
