Denver Colorado Mile High Marker monomad macro
The Mile High Marker in Denver is embedded in the steps leading up to the Colorado State Capitol Building. It is one of the things tourists take a photo of when they tour the building, so I had to join in.
Even though the marker is not that old, it's already got some damage and chips taken out of it. I am not sure how that would happen.

I was using a point and shoot camera when I visited Denver, but I don’t remember which one it was.
