Arun Island Ireland Dog animalphotography
My youth group startled this beautiful dog as we toured ancients ruins on the Arun Islands of Ireland. A pack of wild teenagers was not expected. His owner reached down to calm him.
The rugged islands are accessible by boat, and there are not too many people. This man and dog live there, and were resting on part of their daily walk. When I complimented the dog's beautiful thick coat, his owner said it would be much thicker when winter came.

Such a cool looking dog, and he does have a very thick coat. I'm sure you kids were making a nice ruckus :)
